Out of curiosity, I just picked up a cheap beige g3 266mhz, and have had it
sitting behind me for the last few nights, and I've noticed it has a
tendancy to do some weird things while going to sleep.

Ie, the screen will go off, and the drive will power down, then suddenly
power back up for a few seconds or so, then power back down. Seriously wigs
me out sometimes. :)

It's running 8.6... I've avoided putting 9.0 on it... Is it something to do
with the energy saver control panel or could the drive starting to be going
south?
