Whether Maxtor can or cannot reproduce the problem is not your problem. You will most probably immediately receive a DiamondMax Plus 60 series as a replacement. An excellent, even exceptional drive. Fujitsu has a completely different warranty concept. Fujitsu WILL try to reproduce the problem, and should the problem not be reproducible, you will have your drive returned, unrepaired, and, ADDITIONALLY, you will also be charged an "NTF charge" (No Trouble Found), all this for a drive which IS STILL IN WARRANTY. If you refuse to pay the NTF charge, then you will not get your drive back (even though it is most probably defective).
