Err, why shouldn't Fujitsu (or anyone for that matter) do this? Apple does this. You bring you computer in under warranty, you better believe that if they can't find a problem you'll be charged a bench fee. We certainly did. That is a pretty standard practice. The warranty covers problems with hardware, not phantom issues that can't be reproduced nor does it cover time spent unless the problem can be reproduced.
