Hmm. I re-read your part of the post and am now not sure you haven't already
tried the OS X Update Combo 10.1.5.

If you can't get the combo-updater to work, download the individual updates
from Apple (10.1.1, .1.2, .1.4 and then .1.5) & install them separately in
order.
