Huh? Strange. None of the updates have so much as said buh, ans far as creating problems is concerned for me. I did on the otherhand have trouble with the boot partition until I was shown that I have have to run the daily cleaning with the terminal: sudo sh /etc/daily ( or weekly or monthly) or get MacJanitor to do the same thing from the desktop. X has a nasty habit of otherwise bloating the partition with log files etc until it is full, and then it keeps going, creating a file ot two with sizes purportedly in the terrabyte region even though the drive only has 20 GB. Running the sudo command daily has taken care of that. The other thing is to use SwapCop to relocate the Virtual Memory onto a different partition.
