But the Yikes has the same speed jam I think. It just allows G4s (well
it wouldn't work if it didn't!! ;) ).

Different case? Not really, they took the ADB port off of the backplate
(which unscrews from the case so is a small part) and changed the color
of the panels. AFAIK the case was still the same right up until they
changed to the QuickSilver.

Yeh, when I asked they said it was 50/50 as to if they would do it. I
think they have the patch built are having jelly beans about releasing
it.

Warranties are not to be sniffed at. The cost of posting the item to
the manufacturer to be repaired is slight compared to say a new hard
disk or a new logic board but if it's outta warranty it does free the
sole a bit. If ut's totally dumpster grade stuff I go nutz - look for
my Quadra 805 hack on my site to see how nutz :).

Yes but there still would be on a G4 from PowerLogix which is where i
intend to get mine.

Anyone know if that is significant?

I know. I did that. And it is. And I accept that. I almost feel like
trying to get mine up to 450MHz seeing as the machine is 3 years old
and I have no AppleCare on it :).
