Don�t know if you can remove em or not. I would imagine some you could with some work. My Lacie DVD-R/RW doesn�t look like it will at all without possibly breaking something..
Its not always a driver issue with internal CDRW's. Often its the drives firmware that isnt compatible. I should boot up my G3 in Jaguar and see if I can still use my CRX1611 heh. Never got that far with it. Ive heard a bit about the lack of support for drives that fit in those bays too. Weird? It sucks hehe , I want the new Sony DVD-R that writes all 4 formats of DVD recordable (everything but the RAM) and has the burner at 24x10x40! But its IDE..
