Hello, After many attempts (using a VCR as an S-video input go-between), the TV works as a screen. The 32 MB of VRAM is split evenly, but I don't see a drop in performance on the computer screen. The TV res. is fixed at 60 MHz - very poor. I'm typing this message on the computer screen. Next, I should try to throw all the 32 MB at the TV, but I doubt the picture will become acceptable. According to QECheck, both displays are accelerated (I,m using PCI extreme). Yes, I am using the Oct.29 drivers. I'm supporting ATI because no-one else will sell you a Mac video card retail, and they are trying hard with the driver updates. Most PowerMac users can extend the life of their machines with this card. My Beige G3 uses QE, and will play DVDs. If your trade-in is acceptable to ATI, consider the 7000. They don't make these anymore. Cheers George TV settings: 720 x 480, 60 Hz, NTSC, thousands of colors, Dot crawl activated, sharp setting at lowest. (if you have a better combo, please let me know).
