Hello Again Mark I just found out why my DVD's play so well It appears that QE is not "On" during playback Per latest issue of MacWorld, if QE is On,, I should be able to see thru the transparent object to the movie playing behind, No way Jose' . Not with my setup! A pull down menue blocks the movie! My DVD is an Apple , Matshita SR-8585. Any thoughts on this?
