Nope, not in this case, although there were some pads present which *could* 
have accepted SMD components. But, these weren't "stuffed".

And I would surely know an SMD device if I saw one as at my former employer 
we designed and produced the very first all-LSI, all-SMD mainframe computer 
... nearly 30 years ago.
