My suggestion is to add a Mac to his collection and let him decide. I was an anti-Mac
PC user until recently. The problem I had, and the problem I still see with my PC
friends is that they won't even look at a Mac. They hate them. So, buy the kid an
older Mac. Let him get used to it. Believe me, if its in his room, he'll play with
it. Maybe he'll like it, maybe he won't, but at least from now on a Mac will be an
option when he makes computer buying decisions. There's no need to make him switch
all in one swell foop.
