You mean to say that Mac OS 9 just stopped working the very minute Steve
Jobs announced they'd no longer be working on it?

C'mon, Mac OS 9 was obsolete the day it was released, simply because it is
basically System 7 with lots of stuff tacked onto it.

I suppose he's never even tried to keep up with Windows updates? It's the
same, if not worse on other platforms. Bugs are found, they are fixed, then
an update is shipped.

Indeed. Important difference: Mac OS 9 is no longer in development. But it
is *not* unsupported.
