Hah! A local dealer is using non-dual bootability as a scare tactic to move the current models. And why is the 'recovery' disk an OS 9 copy ? I've fooled around with OS X and X.2 for a long time on my Beige G3 DT (400 MHz, 768 MB Ram). Yes, Jaguar will get better, but only for the very newest machines. It's a way of 'killing' the old stock that's out there. Except for one thing: the Unix geeks and Linux lovers will do what they've always done - write drivers and more for any Unix/Linux OS or platform. It's what they do and it's called open source. Welcome to reality! Not the DOJ and M$ kind of reality, but the true computing environment and the motherlode. This is the future not only of computing, but of our technological civilization itself. Rant over, George
