OS X does not automatically enable the cache on G4 zif upgrades. It's 
strange, but I knew about this when I bought mine (OWC G4/466)
I thought they had something on their site, but I didn't see anything.
  Check out http://xlr8yourmac.com/G3-ZONE/ for more info than you can 
shake a 68k at.
