Howdy,
After installing my Apple G$/350 with 1 meg backside cache in my
Beige G3, I ran Apple System Profiler. I am using version 10.1.5 of
Mac OS. The profiler tells me that I have no external L2 cache
installed. I think that means my 1 meg cache is not being used.
First, am I right? Second, why doesn't Mac OS enable the cache. It
is a genuine Apple G4 module. I am running the G4 at 5 x on a 66 mhz
bus. 5.5x was not reliable.
Thanks,
Ralph
