You should be able to install Jaguar with no problem as long as you follow
the Read Me instructions.

I know you have a bunch of old SCSI hard drives, but considering the heavy
duty use you have for your QuickSilver and the fact that a hard drive will
eventually break, I recommend that sometime this year you install a second
ATA hard drive or attach an external Firewire hard drive (provided the
Firewire devices now support start up - I do not know). Set up the second
hard drive with partitions for your Jaguar and OS 9.2.2, plus partitions for
complete backup copy of your data. Then after you are happy with the way
everything runs with the OSs on the second drive, you can overhaul your
original drive by reformatting it and setting it up with additional
partitions. Between the two drives, you can have backup/second copies of
the OSs, applications, and data. Also, a scratch partition if you use
PhotoShop and a small, handy 600-700MB partition for staging folders/files
to CD-ROM burning. There is something to be said for keeping the principal
data partition and a scratch partition on a different physical hard drive
from the OSs. However you allocate your stuff, you should be able to run
essential operations if/when a hard drive breaks down.

Out of the box, Apple has installed both OSs on one partition. If you have
more than one partition, each one appears as a hard drive on your desktop
and also in the Devices and Volumes section of the Apple System Profiler.
