It doesn't show up when I run the Disk First Aid, doesn't it have to be
mounted first? Only thing that shows up is the CD.

Do you have DiskWarrior on a bootable CD or on a zip disk? DiskWarrior may be available under 9 with a trial version.
Hold down the option key on restart to see if you see the drive.
