More good info, gotta love this list! So how far off is the technology for the double-layer stuff, I have not kept up with the buzz? Also, how much are the A/D converters you mentioned? My VCR still works fine and I don't watch those old movies a lot, just thought it would be nice to have them backed up on DVD's.
