I personally refuse to support a morally bankrupt company like MS, even if it's only using "free" software like Internet Exploder, not withstanding all it's security holes. Not to mention the fact that I could never go back to a browser that didn't have tabbed browsing and built-in pop-up blocking.
And FWIW, I just purchased an item off a website that had a banner stating "This site works with IE 5.0 or better only." It worked just fine in Firefox. I guess it must be better! ;-)
