Well, at the moment, the hard drive isn't doing anything at all. I have a 
feeling that it's waiting at a prompt, which I have no way of activating. I'd 
like to think that I'd be safe in resetting the damn thing, but I know that 
that's probably a Very Bad Idea. How long should it take to optimize, anyway? 
Is there any way to de-install the freakin' 10.2.8 Update, or do I need to 
(shudder) reinstall 10.2?
