If it was on you're likely to have caused some electrical shorting and damaged the circuitry. If the computer was off then take it apart and dry it out completely, cleaning the key contacts if the split water was dirty. I've even read somewhere on these list people putting them (keyboards) in the dishwasher on a low setting - without powder. Good luck Andy
