Water spilt on a keyboard with the computer off has different

for water spilt on a keyboard with the computer on. If it was on you're
likely to have caused some electrical shorting and damaged the
circuitry. If
the computer was off then take it apart and dry it out completely,
cleaning
the key contacts if the split water was dirty. I've even read
somewhere on
these list people putting them (keyboards) in the dishwasher on a low
setting - without powder.
Good luck

I disagree, unless you are drinking "Mineral Water" or you are drinking
you local tap water and it has a high mineral content then nothing very
extensive should have happen to the keyboard. Most bottled water
doesn't contain enough electrolytes that will allow enough current
passage to damage the keyboard.
