Is there a tried and true way for Macs on 10.4 to surf completely stealth? I have noticed my cable modem IP address has always been visible to websites and has never changed in over two years. My sevice provider, OS and browser info. is also available to any site or probing individual. My set-up is a cable modem that goes to a Linksys router with three Mac computers connected.
Every method of going anonymous or cloaking that I have looked into seem to have holes in them. Is paying for a good proxy server the only answer? What about Mac software solutions.
