I bet you could put osx on an amd as well if they are doing it with pc intel boxes. Personally I welcome the change to intels, yes I feel apples systems for the most part have been great but have had probs(b&w ide prob, powerbook issues) If you look at the big picture I feel that when presented with the choice of 2 os's windwoes or osx, more people will choose osx on a mactel epecially if that system will run winwoes as well.No one needs to leave thier favorite apps behind and more software gets put out for Mac folk in general.
