Another point about BBEdit, when you have a lot of old files, is that it will still open them in the old font size, unless you have the State preferences changed to *not* "Honor Saved State" with regard to "Font Settings" -- then it will open the files at the size specified as default. (At least that's the way it works in 5.11, the version I have.
