Hi Bryan, I would agree with that. Toshiba is over all a good brand, and the main reason I had to have mine serviced is because it got knocked off the desk and it hit the floor and broke. Otherwise I think it would have outlasted this Compaq which hasn't been dropped and has practically had hardware issue after hardware issue.
