I use free download manager. I love the thing;it doesn't interfeer with anything I do, so if I'm downloading, say, a 100 mb file, I can just sit back and relax, and play a game, and I hear a diiiing! sound when the download finishes, but I get no window that appears- which means I can finish what I'm doing, get the screen reader up, alt tab, and bam, there's your fdm window.
