Random bit of trivia:

In Castlevania, Symphonies of the Night, if you moved quick enough, it was
possible to slip back through the door before it locked you into the castle.
If you did that you could actually wander around outside of the castle and
even discover a save point out there. There were no enemies or anything to
collect, but it was a fun hidden Easter egg.
