Your thinking of mission seven. Mission five is the one where you
have a group of cargo ships guarded by destroyers passing between
two islands. My personal way to finish that one is to set myself
up in the middle of their root and just chip down the numbers. As
far as mission seven goes, I think the deck gun rules.

Hi Dark,
I definitely think you should. I love Lone Wolf, and it is by far
and
away one of my favorite games. Part of that is because it reminds
me
of games like Aces of the Deep and 688 which I played until I
could no
longer see them, and the other reason is once you get good at it
the
game is hardly boring. There is over a hundred custom missions to
play
now, and its fairly easy to create your own.
As for mission 5, if that is the one about the hospital ships, it
is
very easy tactically speaking. Basically, trick the destroyers
into
leaving the main fleet, sink them as quick as you can, and then
the
rest of the fleet is easy pickings.
Cheers!

Hi Charlese.
I agree on the speakers, however my problem with lone wolf is I
found it
hard to begin with, now I pick it up and can barely complete
mission one,
let alone more, so getting back into stride with all those many
controls and
calculating angles just seems too much of a chaw for me, ----
though I
probably ought to give the game another chance and seriously sit
down and
pratice, as I did when i first got it and completed missions
1-4, though
mission 5 stumped me utterly!
I don't regret buying the game, I just wish I was better at it
:D.
Beware the grue!
Dark.
