If a sighted person were to look into outer space, would they see blackness? Would it be like what I imagine? That would be a thick cloudy mass of darkness. I find this interesting. Another interesting thought: How would you portray the blackness of outer space in an audio game?

Hi Charles,

To be honest I think this is a case of perspective. Someone born blind
such as yourself has no concept of black or white so the absence of
anything is simply blindness to you.

Now, for myself I was sighted for many years before losing my vision,
and although I can't see anything, including light, I would describe
it as seeing black. Technically a doctor might say an absolute absence
of color, but the closest I can compare my blindness to is the color
black since there are no other colors to perceive.
