That was actually pretty well written. Nice job.
Personally I actually don't mind just the little bit of backstory the games
give you in the tutorials, but I would definitely prefer the missions to
have more text to them, and the story you just came up with would be much
cooler. It would also be cool if the missions were completable in some way
rather than repeatable, or at least some mixture of the two. Some of the
missions don't make sense, like the quest in Kingdoms where you have to Save
the Prince from the Goblins. And you can do that quest as many times as you
want. That is one unfortunate prince, or your character is one terrible
hero. haha.
I don't mind stat heavy game sos much because I have a bit of an overactive
imagination, so I can conceptualize a lot of things in terms of my
characters, hence why I still play Dragon Tavern for it's unique classes.
But they tend not to last for too long as in any game, I prefer an
overarching storyline that can be completed and a game that has an ending,
or multiple endings.

Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Storm8 games information
Hi Dark,
That may be. I know a lot of sighted gamers, and even some V.I.
gamers, view text based games as boring or less appealing than having
some graphical representation of the events such as a quick cutscene
that conveys the salient points.
However, like you I enjoy games with a good solid back story, is full
of exploration, and am not so much a fan of stat heavy games. I think
the Storm8 games lack the back story and exploration, and is geared
more for people who like dealing with various stats and who like
figuring out how to earn the most income while maintaining the best
weapons etc. So they are appealing in principle, but fall short of
what I would consider personally addictive.
