Sorry Ken, that is an assumption on your part that Dockett's action were
unprovoked.  And like I said, provocation doesn't excuse Spike's action.

See what I mean, we can sit here and debate this forever.  You are not going
to change my mind and I am not going to change yours.  So I am going to take
my own advise and let the rest of you debate this.  I am moving on.

What Darnell Dockett did was unprovoked.  Spikes was trying to exact some
measure of revenge (justice) for dirty acts that were done to him, and
ignored by the referees.

 

I don't see any moral equivalence.

 

That said, I hope the team is together, and focusing on beating Vanderbilt.
(I also hope at least one member of the coaching staff is spending his spare
time - if any -- taking a look at Alabama).
