I'll take the lack of replies as no one having any objections to me 
taking over the GSoC proposal of improving gcc and perhaps binutils 
support for Windows. Do let me know if anything else is needed of me, 
besides the draft of the proposal as an RFC. Given it's a weekend and 
people are probably not checking the lists as frequently, I guess I can 
introduce myself again more properly when I submit the draft later. Thanks!
