I have a Pixel 4a phone with android 11, and I have the same issue as Brian Bambrough. There is no "Unknown Sources" under Security. After some Googling, I found that BGR has a nice explanation on how to install apk's on Android 11: https://bgr.com/2020/06/04/android-11-beta-sideloading-apps-scoped-storage-security-privacy/ I haven't tried this yet, but I'll report back after I do.
