I also have a Pixel 3 with Android 11.  I only encountered two issues
installing
http://www.jsoftware.com/download/j902/install/jandroid.apk
from Chrome.
1) Click Keep   in response to
     jandroid.apk cannot be downloaded securely
2) Click OK   in response to
     This type of file can harm your device.
     Do you want to keep jandroid.apk anyway?

For me, the only surprise was Android 11 has locked down
     Android/data
so I can only modify files in
     Android/data/com.jsoftware.j.android/files/j901-user/config
from J, instead of any file manager I found.
