As I recall, there is was discussed at length on [EMAIL PROTECTED] The proposal at the time was to give it a mailing list if there was sufficient interest. Having given it more thought, I think that Apache Commons (http://commons.apache.org/) might be a suitable home. The project could use a CVS to maintain its own educational documents, and would have a mailing list.
