Just for the record, your example is wrong. For exheres, it would be foo-bar-2.3.4.exheres-0 "0" being the version. Simple, elegant, works. Now please go on looking for a solution that takes (much) more effort and/or is more complicated as it suits my personal goals better if you choose something different, e. g. some kind of ebuild parsing. :-) Best regards, Wulf
