The new data will be written to /usr/portage which is just a link to /mnt/bigdisk/portage . You will not need to "move" any data anywhere. However, you can also change where /usr/portage is by reviewing the portage options in /etc/make.conf -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
