I saw your posting about compressed HTTP and FME 2011/ArcGIS Data Interop.
We did implement compressed HTTP support in FME 2011, specifically in build
6434 via our PR# 27240, which was August 30, 2011, or so.  It was also
ported over to FME 2010’s branch in October, which means it made it into the
Data Interop extension for ArcGIS 10.0 SP1.  (It also made it into the last
FME 2010 Service Pack as well.)  Hopefully the tests in this thread were
from earlier builds – we definitely want to support this as from your
testing (and ours) we see big performance improvements when the compression
is used.



Thanks for highlighting this,  and do let me know if you find that current
builds of FME/Data Interop don’t use compression and we’ll dig into it
further.
