Dear Adrian,
I do not seem to remember than anyone have asked you to do any work on
his behalf, at least neither me or daniele. You have raised a specific
concern which we have already addressed, but also "threatened" to have
other unspecified concerns/issues/problems which are causing
headaches. Now, I have no reasons to doubt that these problems exist,
therefore I just asked you to tell us ( all..) about them so that we
can take proper actions. Of course you have the freedom to ignore this
simple request, but then of course I would strongly suggest that the
GeoTools PMC would ignore such unspecified concerns and rollback any
action you take based on them.
By the way, I would like to remind that GeoTools is an open source
program run by a PMC, as such, you might want to consider the
following workflow for the future

issue --> discussion --> PMC decision --> action

Thank you for your collaboration,
Simone.
