there's no need to pirate gps, as the signal is available to anyone anytime.
you don't need a cell phone connection, it may take longer to get a
first fix though
#3 is not a requirement, just a question. I'm wondering how to access
this info for an art project with a big brother theme.
if the phone is not powered up, you can't get anything...
