Maybe we should define the JSR-77 features as the minimum?
o Discovery - discovering and navigating the managed objects on a
managed
system
o Events - receiving notifications of important events that occur on
managed
objects
- created / deleted
- starting / running / stopping / stopped / failed
o State - observing and controlling the running state of managed objects
- start / startRecursive / stop
o Performance - monitoring basic performance statistics of managed
objects
- time / range / boundary / boundedRange / count
(derived from the specs)
I believe the order is right too.
JSR-88 comes into play for deployment.
