We will not drop the code completely - but we may deprecate certain solutions from gitorious.org if we deem it right to do so. Having said that, I agree with you that modularization is the way ahead. In fact, I think modularization (e.g. splitting stuff out as gems, allowing more pieces of Gitorious to be installed/run in isolation) is the best way of helping make Gitorious more manageable to cofigure and deploy - both for us and for all of you running it locally. > > Any way, great job! > Thanks!
