My ideal frame size is about the same as yours, Jay, so I also must have a fat head!
I appreciate all of the observations and suggestions discussed in this thread. For years, I've worn tight, ill-fitting frames foisted on me by incompetent brick-and-mortar opticians. A year ago, I started buying online, and am thrilled with the results. No more grooves on the sides of my head! I have a strong prescription, and this gives both a comfortable fit and reasonable lens thickness. Interestingly, the temples are only 140mm on these, but because of the shape, they aren't too short on me. Both of these have proven to be very well-made and durable, much better frames than what I have received from Goggles4u and the other lowest-priced sites.
