If you have the option of doing SPDIF to a halfway decent external amp you can avoid possible trouble with the many sources of digital noise inside the PC that can affect an analog audio signal. Doing it via fiber optics instead of coax will also further reduce the chance of a hum-inducing ground loop between the PC and other equipment. -dl _______________________________________________ gnhlug-discuss mailing list gnhlug-discuss@mail.gnhlug.org http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-discuss/
