What is Japanese style accordion fold?

Japanese style = accordion fold. The pages are blank on one side.

Works of Hiroshige, et al., (fine art reproductions and even original
paintings) are produced in this format. It is not *necessarily* cheap
and it doesn't look cheap, nor does it look as bad as those beautifully
printed expensive wire or GBC bound music editions with foldouts when
the folded paper begins to tear at the crease and the pages fall out.
