I'm seeing this, too: large number of DeadlineExceededErrors and other errors at the same times of the day, for the past several days.
I'm not sure it's related to Django or anything else. We are using Django and pyamf, and the errors will happen anywhere. I think it's just the Django and pyamf have a lot of initialize code to go through, so the errors that happen randomly often happen in there.
