Yes! There's no point in adding image support to my application without the ability to reduce the size of images that are over 1MByte. Also Support for in-instance caching (some way for an instance to understand its memory usage and a way to cause a borked instance to commit suicide). See http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=1298 . and Incremental conflict checking for transactions - see http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=1298 . Of course, faster and more reliable datastore operations, but that doesn't need more votes.
