While interacting with national movements I had to face the Kurta effect many times. Most of the activists would be wearing Kurta or cotton shirts. Once I was not allowed to speak because I wore a T-shirt. (The economy of the T-shirt; I bought it for 50 Rupees). But then I have the freedom to choose what I want to wear. I quit Kurta, I dont wear it for a demonstration to be eligible as an activist. I don't want to be one by wearing Kurta, or having thady. I go with T-shirt. One can say this is a trivial, silly matter. I also believe it, but when people demand, such trivial things, you have no other option, but to make a statement on it. As of commitment, I dont kno what scale one can use to measure the varying degrees of commitment of different dressed or differently abled people. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Green Youth Movement" group.
