When you see the Liber Usualis or most of Solesmes books, you see a
space before ":" as in:
Laudáte puéri Dóminum :
Are there good reasons to add or remove this space?
For example, to store a gregorio score in Gregobase?
A few notes :
- french typography uses this space before :, ;, ?...
- Solesmes book were (are) usually printed in french speaking countries.
- When the source is some book, there are good reasons to reproduce as
much as possible the original...
Has this point been studied and best practices defined?
